(Media-Newswire.com): Sad News- From the baseball world as the Sparky Anderson death has been announced just days after reports of his entering a hospice care facility. Sparky Anderson was 76 years old at the time of his death.
Sparky Anderson won World Series championships with the Cincinnati Reds during the 1970's with the Big Red Machine team featuring Pete Rose, Dave Concepcion, Tony Perez and other big names. He later won a World Series with the Detroit Tigers.

Anderson managed a total of 17 years with the Detroit Tigers of the American League with a stint in Cincinnati for nine.
